One of my greatest joys in life is helping people discover how to live their best lives. As a Functional Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in pelvic rehabilitation, orthopedic sport and spine physical therapy, and Myofascial Release (MFR) medical massage therapy, I individualize each session to treat the root cause.
I aim to provide the absolute best and most integrated approach to individualized care. My clinical practice includes the performance of internal and external musculoskeletal assessments, along with treatment of the physical bodies functional movement system. Care and attention is also provided to asses and treat the bodies emotional and fascial system in order to connect, support, and restore balance. Additionally, I offer guidance when needed towards a holistic approach to nutrition and hormone support through the understanding that food is medicine.
The field of Women's Health has always been an area of passion and it is my mission to increase awareness and access to women's and pelvic health education and individualized integrative holistic rehabilitation care. Receiving individualized and preventative health care methods helps to create potential to live life without chronic pain and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions and life altering impairments. My patients can always expect a level of care and attention that will bring them both restoration, relief and a sense of self-empowerment.
I grew up on the Big Island in a rural town where I was able to live off the āina, and learn the importance of community and ohana. Now, living my best life here on Oahu I continue to find joy in creating connections and serving the community. I enjoy exploring the beautiful ko’olau ridge-lines with my ohana, swimming at Kailua Beach, tending to mother earths gifts in my garden, and sharing health and wellness resources with my community.
I believe connection is the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard and valued. When you are ready to start your healing journey, I look forward to connecting and supporting you on a holistic restorative path.
